  • I agree with Eric. For the record, I am currently on umemployment and have been since last June (lost my job in May). I did find a couple of part time jobs that paid a whopping $9 hr and most weeks I only worked 3 or 6 hours although I did manage a couple of weeks where I made over 300 (wow!!!).

  • Indie, I will run the numbers for Eric to see if they work. Federal min wage is 7.25 but several states have higher amounts so I will use 7.50. 40 hrs times 7.50 equals 14,400 a year. At that amount he will not pay any income tax so there will be no withholding.

  • Some people don't like real numbers I guess. Wow, materials will cost most of the money, like I don't know that. The fact is that it will cost of 474 billion to create 2 million jobs. However, part of those jobs will not fix any infrastructure.

  • Just how stupid is Obama's American Job Act? Let's run the numbers. It will, according to Obama and lib supporters create 1.9 million jobs, doubtful, but let's be generous and say 2 million jobs. It will also increase the GDP by 2%, again I doubt that but I will use their numbers.

  • Let me see if I understand this. Some prior illegal Mexicans are complaining about newer illegal Mexicans while open border Mexicans tell the whites that everyone is a human being and not an illegal because there are no such things as illegal people.
